‘Airliner’ has been short-listed for 4th International Emerging Artist Award, Show at the Fair section. 10 artists will be selected to exhibit their work at World Art Dubai on the 6th to the 9th of April. The shortlisting also ensures inclusion in the “Best Of IEAA” Coffee Book Table Creation available soon. Check out the short-listed artists here. 

Damien has been selected for a solo exhibition of new work at the Tweed Regional Gallery in March, 2017. More details to follow.

The ‘Airliner’ series is to  be exhibited at the Gold Coast City Gallery in October, 2016.

The series includes several large panoramic photographs taken at the Gold Coast international Airport throught 2015. The project was supported by Queensland Airports Limited, the Gold Coast City Gallery and the Queensland College of Art. The works will form part of a joint, concurrent exhibition at the Gold Coast City Gallery and on site at the Gold Coast international Airport in October 2016.

The Gold Coast City Gallery has acquired Airport (2013) by DamienO’Mara. The work was exhibited at the Gold Coast City Gallery at the Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photographic award in 2013.
